February 9th, 1941 – The national comedy sensation “The Three Stooges,” come to Sioux Falls.
The trio would preform 5 shows a day (!) for three days – February 8, 9, and 10. It would eventually be exposed in their career, that their managers booked them to do more shows than many professional acts, while stealing money from them!

Regardless, Larry, Curly, and Moe were terrific with the Sioux Falls crowds! Interacting with the kids, entertaining the parents, and bringing their hilarious physical comedy to the stage of the local Hollywood Theatre!

Surely Sioux Falls was more light hearted after the Three Stooges paid us a visit!
